Alpha DPF Monitor support
Connect. Check. Drive safely.
A quick start guide for compatible ELM327 Bluetooth Low Energy adapters.
Contact supportBefore you begin
- Park the vehicle in a safe place.
- Plug the adapter into the OBD-II port.
- Turn on Bluetooth on your iPhone and allow the permissions requested by the app.
- Start the engine and tap Connect.
If no data appears
- Check that the adapter genuinely supports Bluetooth Low Energy; Bluetooth Classic models are not compatible with iPhone.
- Close any other OBD apps: an adapter will often accept only one connection at a time.
- Open OBD Diagnostics in the app and copy the log when contacting support.
Try it without a car
Open the DPF Lab from the test-tube icon. The full cycle simulates a clean filter, high load, regeneration and completion, including notifications and Live Activity.
Compatibility
Alpha DPF Monitor reads specific Mode 22 diagnostic parameters used by some Alfa Romeo and FCA diesel vehicles. Parameter availability varies by model, year, engine, ECU and adapter, so compatibility cannot be guaranteed for every vehicle.
Technical notice
The displayed values are for information only and do not replace maintenance, professional diagnosis or manufacturer guidance. Do not ignore warning lights, vehicle messages or unusual conditions, and do not change your driving solely on the basis of the app.
